Kaura-Riyom peace dialogue. The dialogue was part in the series of strategic engagement with stakeholders geared towards finding amicable resolution of the longstanding disputes between the Aten, Atakar and Fulani communities at the borderlands of Riyom and kaura LGAs of Plateau and kaduna States. Stakeholders at the dialogue were the paramount rulers of the three communities viz: Ata Aten of Ganawuri, a Gwom Afang Atakar, Fulani Ardo and their lieutenants as well as kaduna State Peace Commission, USIP and PPBA. |

In the aftermath of a facilitated dialogue between Fulani and Irigwe people by the Plateau Peace Building Agency in Bassa LGA headquarters, there was an attempted assassination on the district head of Maingo and the ubangari Irigwe on their retuning around the Dutse Kura area, army golf club. |
